UTI drugs are medication meant for the treatment of urinary tract infection. The infection is mainly caused when bacteria travels to urethra, a part of urinary tract along with kidneys, bladder and ureters. The effectiveness of this medicine reduces if anyone overuses the medicine or take unnecessarily. Ofloxacin is a quinolone antibiotic that stops bacterial growth. UTI drugs must be taken only for bacterial infection in urinary tract, not for viral infections. While taking such medicines, people must drink a lot of fluids.
